YE3 Compact High-Voltage Series Three-Phase Induction Motor
A high-voltage cage machine in a deliberately compact envelope — same 185–3150 kW range as the standard high-voltage series, in a smaller body with a higher ingress rating.
A single-speed, continuous-duty high-voltage squirrel-cage three-phase induction motor. The design goal is size: for the same rating the machine is physically smaller than a conventional high-voltage frame, which matters when the motor has to fit an existing base or a constrained plant room.
The ingress rating goes up to IP65, higher than the IP54/IP55 usual on high-voltage machines, and cooling is IC411 — totally enclosed with a shaft-mounted fan rather than a heat exchanger.
It is built at 6000 V or 3300 V. The 3300 V option is worth noting: it is a common distribution voltage in plants that never went to 6 kV, and it is not always offered on high-voltage product lines.
