Electric motors consume a large share of all industrial electricity, so the most consequential thing a motor manufacturer does for the environment happens in the customer's plant, not its own. This page sets out both: the efficiency our products deliver in service, and the certifications governing how we operate.

The saving happens after delivery

Efficiency class

LEADGO builds to IEC 60034-30-1 classes IE3 through IE5. Under the Chinese national standard GB 18613—2020, grades 1, 2 and 3 correspond exactly to IE5, IE4 and IE3.

Permanent magnet retrofits

Measured savings on completed conversion projects range from around 8% to over 44%, depending on the efficiency of the machine being replaced. The payback calculator works through a specific case.

Duty cycle matters more than nameplate

Most industrial motors run below rated load most of the time. Matching the machine to the actual duty cycle typically saves more than moving up one efficiency class on paper.
