DYG Series High-Starting-Torque Multi-Speed Motor System
A two-speed pole-changing machine designed for high starting torque, supplied with its control box — for oilfield and mining loads that are hard to get moving.
DYG is a system: a high-starting-torque multi-speed motor plus a control box. The motor has two output speeds and two corresponding powers, selected by a changeover switch inside the box.
The special winding design is aimed at starting torque. On loads that break away hard — a stuck pumping unit, a loaded conveyor, a hoist — the limiting factor is not running power but the torque available at zero speed, and that is what this design addresses.
The control cabinet is built for outdoor unattended sites: short-circuit and overload protection, rain protection and theft resistance.
