YBX5 Series High-Efficiency Flameproof Three-Phase Induction Motor
The top flameproof efficiency grade — grade 1 of GB 18613—2020, corresponding to IE5 — built as a focused mid-power range rather than a full frame span.
YBX5 is a totally enclosed high-efficiency flameproof three-phase induction motor meeting grade 1 of GB 18613—2020, the highest of the three grades (YBX3 is grade 3, YBX4 grade 2).
It covers H200 to H280 and 15 to 90 kW — a deliberately narrower band than YBX3 and YBX4, which span H80 to H355. That band is where continuous hazardous-area drives cluster, and where the efficiency premium returns fastest.
The published marking is the industrial rating Ex db IIB T4 Gb. Unlike YBX3 and YBX4, a separate mining rating is not published for this series — if you need Ex db I Mb, specify YBX3 or YBX4.
